Perfect for a family night instead of ordering take out !
Tender, juicy chicken thighs seared to perfection and tossed into a flavorful bourbon glaze !
Things you will need:
1.Season chicken with BC seasonings, rub in seasoning until all chicken are evenly coated.
2.Heat grape seed oil in cast iron skillet over medium high heat.
3.Place chicken in cast iron and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, once chicken is done remove from skillet and set aside.
4.In the same skillet lower heat to medium, add in your minced ginger and garlic, cook until fragrant (About 30/45 seconds). Deglaze with soy sauce making sure to get all the flavor bits off of the pan. Add bourbon whiskey, hoisin sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and honey. Whisk until combined.
5.Lower the heat to med-low and let reduced for about 10 minutes or until a thicker consistency.
6.Chop up chicken into medium sized cubes, or desired size, and add back into the sauce. Turn off the heat and toss chicken in the sauce until coated evenly.
7.serve hot over white rice, garnish with sesame seeds and green onion.
